Attention Sinton High School Families & Students

  

  • Weekly school work packets will be picked up on Monday from 8-11am for students who do not have access to internet.  They are to also be dropped off weekly on Thursday's from 8-11am for teachers to grade.  Parents are to drive through the library/bus parking lot on the side of the high school that runs along the Welder playground on Pirate Blvd. 
  • Mrs. Lemos, the Librarian is also at school for any family that needs to check out Chromebooks  from 9am-12pm.
  •   Parents are to use the same Library/ bus parking lot for Chromebook checkout as well. 
  • Parents, also, all teachers will have regular remote office hours through zoom, a video chat, where they can be readily available if you or your child has any questions about schoolwork.  Each teacher will have a 1-hour time slot in the morning and another 1-hour time slot available each afternoon. 
  •  Your child's teacher will be in contact with your child with the zoom identification code and their zoom time slots. 
  •  Please know that teachers will also be available any time there are questions through email, phone conference, or zoom meeting appointment.  
  • Thank you for your continued support in continuing to give your child the best educational opportunities in this trying time for us as a Nation.  Have a blessed evening.

** Due To The Emergency Closure, Sinton Isd Has Chosen To Implement The Meal Program **

 

Starting Monday, March 16, the Sinton ISD Food Service Department will provide meals with curbside service at Sinton Elementary free of charge to any child ages 1-18. Pick up time is 9am-1pm. Meal pickup will be through bus loop entrance. Breakfast and lunch will be picked up at the same time. Children  must be present in the car to receive the meals. Adult meals are not available. Walk-ups are welcome, but no dining in. This service is for any child ages 1-18 and not limited to students of Sinton ISD, as long as they have not been to China, UK, Ireland or most of Europe and do not have any symptoms of the corona virus. 

Sinton ISD is a partner with TDA to serve these meals in areas where more than 50 percent of children are eligible for free or reduced-priced meals in the National School Lunch Program.

Notification Concerning 2018-2019 Federal Report Cards

Sinton ISD is sharing this information about the district and your child’s campus with you as part of it’s obligations under the federal Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA).  TEA has released the Federal Report Cards for the state, district, and campuses for the 2018-2019 school year.  You can view this information at Sinton ISD’s website by clicking here.     You may also visit the Texas Education Agency’s website by clicking here.
